Today marked the Omer 14 meaning there are 36 more days before Shavuot (Pentecost) Celebrations. Different villages resumed their local churches from Pesach, and Ruiru was no exception! The Church service was graced by visitors some from as far as Boston, USA.

The day was extraordinarily lively, perhaps due to the new power injected to all believers during Pesach. All faces looked radiant and reverence levels were doubled. Every soul sought to reap more from every word that trickled from the pulpit.

The church elder, Eld. Kibe Mwangi, exhorted all believers to strive and exceed the pharisees' righteousness lest they miss entry to The Holy City, Jerusalem. He further encouraged believers to heed advice from the clergy for they are the custodians of The Church. All the other sermons were geared towards encouraging believers to remain steadfast and focussed.
