The Role of Married Men in the Messianic Faith

Married men are divinely appointed as spiritual heads of their families and key figures in the growth of the church. Their responsibilities extend beyond their households, ensuring the spiritual and structural development of the entire congregation.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

  1. Upholding the Doctrine: COGMEA members are the custodians of faith, ensuring the church remains steadfast in Messianic teachings and biblical principles.
  2. Teaching and Mentoring: As fathers and leaders, they provide spiritual guidance to their children at home and in church, instilling values that shape the next generation.
  3. Welcoming Newlyweds: They take newly married couples under their mentorship, offering counsel and support to help them establish strong, faith-centered marriages.
  4. Development and Leadership: The group forms development committees that oversee church projects and initiatives. They also serve as a leadership reserve, from which Deacons, Elders, Pastors, and Village Leaders emerge.
  5. Family Stewardship: The Bible commands men to take care of their families, teaching them to walk in righteousness. A man who neglects his family is considered worse than a non-believer.
  6. Church Development and Support: COGMEA members lead from the front in all church projects, working in unity to ensure the congregation thrives both spiritually and physically.

As the pillars of the church, married men are called to be vigilant, leading their families and the church in righteousness. Their faithfulness and dedication attract blessings from Adonai, strengthening the entire church community.
