The feasts, commencing at twilight of the fourteenth day of Nisan the first month of the biblical calendar
Shalom Brothers and Sisters in the Body of Messiah. Once again, it is the season of Passover and the feast of unleavened Bread. The feasts, commencing at twilight of the fourteenth day of Nisan the first month of the biblical calendar is the beginning of the cycle of the Lord appointed feasts - Leviticus 23:4-8. In Kenya, we have gathered here at our Nairobi Headquarters from 3rd to 10th April 2015.
It is a time for the believers to partake the body and blood of Messiah as instructed by the savior himself during the last supper - Luke 22:14-20. Observing the feasts is an important part of Hashem plan for salvation. Apostle Paul extorts the believers to keep the feast of Passover and unleavened bread "...For Yahshua, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth" (1 Corinthians 5:7-8).
The Church of God is built on foundation of Apostles and Prophets with Yahshua as the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2: 19-22). Yahshua observed the Passover and illustrated to his disciples how it should be observed after his death. He also taught Paul that Passover should keep in worthy manner in remembrance of the savior till his second coming (1 Corinthians 11:23-29).
I wish the community of messianic believers in Kenya, Africa, Our brethren in Israel and the world as a whole a blessed Passover and celebration of the feast of unleavened bread.
This is a festival of freedom and deliverance. Three times in a year according to the laws of the Torah, all Messianics congregate to celebrate the festival of Passover and the Unleavened Bread, Shavuot (Pentecost), and Sukkoth (Tabernacles). I invite all to come and celebrate with us during this feast and the others to come later in the year.
