Brethren at the Church of God 7th day Ruiru Branch, couldn't hide their joy on that Shabbat, 19th of March 2016, for hosting guests from the USA. The main guest and speaker was Pastor Emmanuel Nyakako, who ministers at Worcester church in Massachusetts. There has been a cordial relationship between him and the General Overseer Hezekiah Kuria Karanja here in Kenya. He was accompanied by his lovely wife Rosemarie, as well as brother Williams from New York. The enthusiastic audience waited in great anticipation to hear words of wisdom from the anointed man of God. He eloquently delivered his sermon which centered on the marriage institution.

The service was spiced up with special presentations. Different groups in the church participated: they were the main choir, the young women choir and the youth commonly known as Team Ruiru. Young children also did their part.

The climax of the presentations was when Team Ruiru gave their breathtaking performance. Their vigor could challenge a charged bull as they presented two songs from their 'Yu Hai' album. The guests could hardly grasp any Swahili word, but their enthusiastic clapping, nodding their heads in approval and in rhythm, stamping their feet as they followed the beats was a clear indicator of the power of God present. As the service came to an end, Pastor Nyakako proclaimed blessings upon every one of us. We felt honored to host such special people from overseas.
