Church of God Youth Organizations of Kenya (COGYOK) is a group of young men and women, above 18 years and not married. COGYOK is under the umbrella of the Church Of God 7th Day spreading all over Kenya and beyond. The primary objective of COGYOK is to preach the true gospel to all nations and bringing people to the ways of righteousness. Over the years, the organization has effectively inspired hundreds of young men and women through its activities and outreach programs.

The organization extends to all regions of the country and has a massive representation. The regions include Nairobi, Murang’a, Limuru, Kipipiri, Eastern, Meru, Nakuru, Eldoret, Nyanza, Mombasa, Karigui-ni, Nyeri, and Kipipiri. The organization has an organized and hierarchical order of leadership that starts from the grass root to the national level. Since the inception of the group, there has a tremendous transformation in its leadership.

The organization works under the Leadership of its Patron G.O/Pastor Kuria Karanja and Youth Minister Pastor Mugoya Maube. The Current Youth President is Stephen Kamau who oversees all the functions and operations of the organization throughout the Country with the help of the National Committee.  Together with the Committee, the Youth National Committee organizes Training and Empowerment Programs and Seminars.

COGYOK OFFICIALS’ CONFERENCE 2017

Every year, the organization holds Annual Leaders’ Conferences which are held at the Church of God Headquarters, Eastleigh Section III, Nairobi. The just concluded conference attracted over 60 National leaders from all 13 Regions. The Guest Speakers, Pastor Mugoya and Deacon Muchiri, encouraged leaders to be vigilant and firm in serving the Elohim, the Organization, and the Church.  Among other things, the Leaders were taken through a spirited Leadership Training which focused on:-

•    Transformational leadership for COGYOK and the church

•    Achieving Organization cohesion and unity

•    Preaching the word of God to all Nations using all means at our disposal.

•    COGYOK Spiritual, Social, and Financial Development

•    Personal Growth and Development

This year’s theme “Leadership in the Footsteps of Moses” was clear that, just like Moses, the Leaders must be ready to pay a price.
