When human skin is gnawed by cold, teeth suffer most as they gnash against each other. This has been the custom in Engineer, a fast-growing town at the foot of Aberdare Ranges on the the fertile soils of Central Kenya. Temperatures are normally very low such that the place seems to be refrigerated throughout the third quarter of every year. However, many people's expectations were thwarted last weekend when the unexpected happened. Particularly, the sabbath day broke with the usual pricking cold.

Everyone seemed prepared to face the monster by dressing heavily and others went to the extent of doubling their socks. But at around eight in the morning, the sun started wading its way through a sullen cloud which had besieged the azure sky as long as could be remembered. Gradually, every creature seemed reincarnated as it bask in the smily sun that had displaced the seemingly immortal cold which reigns supreme in the region. Hundreds of Messianics wished the Sabbath service was not in progress because they would have lain in the sun enjoying the sooth of the golden-yellow sun rays. COGMERs have been camping here for days spreading the third Angel's message to the locals. Many have shown a lot of interest in the word and, hopingly, there will be a bountiful harvest.

The General Overseer, pastor Kuria Karanja applauded the congregation for its efforts and encouraged it that Hashem will bless their jobs and lives in general. Testimonies persisted as believers constantly testified the awesome miracles they had witnessed in their lives. Showers of blessings were evident as many mouths continued to witness and, it goes without saying, the place was experiencing the Lord's glory!
